Senator Kamala Harris has decided she will not accept contributions from corporate PAC’s. Sen. Harris follows Democrats Cory Booker and Kirsten Gillibrand, who have pledged not to accept corporate PAC donations. They, in turn, were following the earlier examples of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, progressive stalwarts of the party, Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who said no to corporate PAC money a long time ago. Hillary Clinton in 2016 did accept corporate PAC money but it was only a small fraction of the total amount of money she raised.
