Democrats already have a lot of female voters on their side who will help to push the votes in their favor, however, neither Democrats nor Republicans have managed to secure a significant number of Latino votes. Hispanic midterm voter turnouts have always been historically low, but Democrats are hoping that Trump’s immigration policies will spark enough anger among the Hispanic voters to turnout. Currently, 65% of Hispanic registered voters are not happy with Trump. But that may not be enough. Democrats need to give Hispanics something to vote for, not just against, otherwise their alternative is to just stay home and not vote at all.
